You totally ran out of ideas what to eat for lunch and your aren't craving bread, salad, but you do want something healthy? Than this is perfect for you! Make a BIG batch and you'll be able to eat 4 times of this, well at least I do haha. Except when you are REALLY hungry, but even then I would be too satisfied to eat more than 1 serving hehe. This recipe is just gives you a perfect balance between your carb, fat and protein intake and stops your sweet tooth cravings too... I no longer want to keep you waiting... So below you will find all the ingredients you need and also the super easy instructions on how to make it. Oh and not to forget the nutritional values of all this yumminess! ---->
Healthy Couscous Salade with chicken
Ingredients (4 servings):
- 150g (organic) couscous
- chicken broth mixed with wamr water
- 2/3 tomatoes
- 1 cucumber
- 1 small can of Bonduelle corn
- 1 small can of kidney beans (non-sugar)
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 1/2 avocado (optional, NOT included in the original recipe)
- 200g chicken/turkey breast
- some fresh parsley

How to make it:
1. Take a BIG bowl, boil some water and poor 500ml into a beaker and mix it with the chicken broth.
2. Put the couscous into the bowl and carefully add some of the water mixture until it is just above the couscous. Let it well for about 10-15min.
3. In the mean time, chop all of the ingredients into small pieces and put them into a separate bowl.
4. Now cut the chicken or the turkey into pieces ready for cooking.
5. The couscous is ready and you can add all the vegetable, spices or anything you desire. Mis well!
6. Bake the chicken/turkey with some water or oil until desired. I always add some chicken spices to make the pieces taste even more delicious - wohoo!
7. Once the chiekn/turkey is baked, drain it a little and add it to the couscous bowl.
8. Add some fresh cut parsley for the flavour...
9. DONE! (You can now it a portion directly or divide it evenly over 4 small lunch boxes and keep it in the fridge!)

~ TIP: This recipe if great if you want to prep your meals for the week. It is easy and fast to make and consists out of a lot of good things that will satisfy your body. Also, if you want to add some more fats; add some olive oil! ~
You can see that there are now weird, unusual or unhealthy foods in this recipe. it provides you with a perfect balance between good fats, carbs and A LOT of protein! Plus, it does not only look yummy on the pictures, but when you would try it out, you can say it for yourself!
